Moroccan dams’ reservoirs Year 2011 Location Morocco Description In 2011 Hydrogeo, G-tec’s Moroccan branch, was awarded 2 contracts by the DRPE (an organ of the Moroccan Ministry of Energy, Mines, Water and Environment) to perform a set of bathymetric surveys and sedimentation analysis.

These studies took place on 10 major Moroccan dams’ reservoirs (altogether 27,500 ha), including the Al Wahda Dam, the largest in the country and second largest in Africa. Their goal was to determine the reservoirs’ silting-up level.
