English Channel aggregate extraction: EIA and geophysical survey - FRANCE

From 2006 to 2010, G-tec intervened in the frame of a prospecting license issuing for marine aggregates in the English Channel.

Beside the realization of geophysical campaigns aiming at characterizing the resources (bathymetry, side scan sonar, seismic reflection, sediments sampling), G-tec coordinated the whole environmental assessment (hydrodynamic distribution of fish species, analyses of seabed communities, fish investigation).

The project will lead to the realization of a concession claiming and the opening of a marine aggregates exploitation works.
