Whale watching during survey |

During a survey on an offshore windfarm site, Jean and Samuel from G-tec witnessed a whale jumping in the vicinity of the boat.
The animal was filmed in the vicinity of the Thornton sandbank at 25km off the coast. It is a young humpback. Apparently it is the first time a humpack whale was observed along the Belgium coast.
