Gtec executed a geophysical survey for what will be the largest power station project of Morocco, with a port to provide the power station with coal. The objectives of the survey are to detect the thickness of sediments and the top of the bedrock and to characterize the rock based on seismic velocities. A bathymetry, side scan sonar, seismic reflection and seismic refraction campaign was carried out for the marine part, a refraction survey was executed on land. These results were used to design a complementary geotechnical campaign.
