G‐tec s.a.s. has been contracted by Elia Asset nv to undertake an offshore geophysical survey, an offshore geotechnical survey and laboratory tests, including the reporting of all these for the construction of a Modular Offshore Grid (MOG). The MOG is a high voltage grid in the Belgian part of the North Sea, to connect four planned offshore wind farms to the onshore grid connection point in Zeebrugge. The MOG will consist of an offshore platform, called offshore switchyard (OSY) and multiple electrical cable connections, from which two export cables to the onshore connection point.
