This beautiful air footage of the new High speed rail line between Tours and Bordeaux show the first live trials with test trains.

G-tec was closely involved in the project LGV SEA between Tours and Bordeaux during 5 years (project management assistance; 2010-15). G-tec indeed operated as an expert consultancy company both in geophysical and geological domains within the SEA “Cavity Department” dedicated to the definition (preliminary investigations) and validation of the hazard and risk related to the presence of underground cavity along more 300 km; this follow-up allowed to guarantee a high quality control and the required engineering optimal safety regarding the whole chain of risk evaluation processes, from equipment and methods used by subcontractors as well as geological analyses and final interpretations.

This permanent and on-going consultancy support allowed to propose oriented solutions for each engineering problematics encountered on site for a better risk-reduction approach on the high-speed railway track Tours-Bordeaux (in terms of geological and anthropogenic cavity). Thus, according to its standards, G-tec participated to the quality and safety of the project. 

G-tec a participé au projet de la LGV SEA entre Tours et Bordeaux pendant 5 ans (2010-15). La société G-tec est en effet intervenue dans l’expertise géophysique et géologique comme consultant au sein de la Cellule Cavité du SEA pour la définition (investigations préliminaires) puis la validation de l’aléa et du risque cavité sur plus de 300 km ; ce suivi permettait d’assurer  le contrôle qualité prérequis sur l’ensemble de la chaîne d’évaluation du risque et ainsi une sécurité optimale en vérifiant non seulement les équipements et méthodes utilisées par les différents intervenants mais également les analyses géologiques et interprétations finales. Ceci a permis d’apporter des solutions adaptées à chaque problématique rencontrée en génie civil (ingénierie) pour réduire le risque lié aux cavités naturelles et anthropiques sur la Ligne à Grande Vitesse Tours-Bordeaux.  G-tec à ainsi pu participer,  fidèle à ses standards, à la qualité et à la sécurité du projet.
