A new project for G-TEC in the Netherlands
We are excited to announce that G-TEC has been awarded a contract by RVO (Netherlands Enterprise Agency) to perform a seabed survey for the Doordewind Offshore Wind Farm project in the North Sea.
The survey of Lot 1 will cover an area of about 310 km2 and will include geophysical seabed investigations. The objective is to provide RVO with high-quality data on the seabed and sub-seabed conditions. RVO will share these data with wind farm developers to de-risk the wind farm development in a very early phase.
The survey operations have started early July and will last into the summer months. We will use our own survey vessel, the Mainport Geo, which is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and experienced crew.
We are looking forward to working with RVO on this important project, which will contribute to the energy transition and the sustainable development of the Netherlands. We are proud to showcase our expertise and experience in offshore wind farm surveys and to support our clients with innovative and cost-effective solutions.
