Join our dynamic team in Vlissingen as an Activity Coordinator, where you’ll play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing between multiple offshore and dredging projects. With 4-8 simultaneous projects on-site, you’ll lead coordination efforts among diverse operational teams, ensuring safety, quality and efficiency.
Coordinate daily activities, prioritizing safety, and creating a secure work environment.
Select and manage qualified subcontractors, establishing safety standards and criteria.
Plan operational areas on-site, collaborating closely with logistics for efficient execution.
Actively participate in project preparation, optimizing scopes for safe and efficient outcomes.
Manage work permits, ensuring safe and controlled project execution.
Enforce compliance with company regulations, safety plans, and procedures.
Collaborate with site management, logistics, and storage teams to achieve seamless operations.
Report directly to the site manager, contributing to overall project success.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills: proficient in both Dutch and English, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels.
5–10 years of management experience: proven track record in managing multi-disciplined environments, preferably on sites or plants.
Experience with Offshore and Dredging vessels and operations.
Energetic team player: you demonstrate teamwork, energy, and a hands-on approach to tasks.
Change manager: creative problem-solving abilities with a focus on process management of change.
Project execution expertise: understanding and application of safe, timely, and cost-effective project execution.
Computer skills for common offshore and dredging industry management systems.
Analytical mindset: strong analytical skills with the ability to identify synergies and optimize operational execution.
Fluent English reporting skills: effective written and verbal reporting in English
Work and way of thinking to the level of Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
